Without Love I Am Nothing
Without love I am nothing,
for scales of blindness cover my eyes.
My heart becomes hard and brittle,
a combination which can cause the soul to die.
Without love I am nothing
but a dark empty vessel of sin.
For the power of God’s Grace will not save me,
if I neglect to repair the brokeness within.
Without love I am nothing,
for love is a reflection of God’s truth.
Written long ago Jesus provided the answers,
found in Matthew 22 verse 39 as proof.
So to those who feel they lack love and compassion,
maybe it’s time to humble yourself and pray.
Ask the Lord to cleanse your broken brittle heart,
and experience God’s gift every single day.
